COUNSELING
Counseling services provided by the Montana Women's Business Center (WBC) are specific to the needs of an individual or business.
Services include start-up, business plan development, management, marketing, procurement, financing and/or operation of a small business enterprise.
Counseling services are offered face-to-face, online and by phone and provide assistance to nascent, start-up and advanced women entrepreneurs.

Career Transitions, Inc., a private non-profit job training organization, promoting job readiness and lifelong learning through adult education and training programs. This WBC sub-center focuses on women entrepreneurs needing assistance in soft-skill development, computer training and career counseling.

WBC Sub-Center - Hamilton
Ravalli County Economic Development Authority services create the infrastructure for a
knowledge-based business community in the Bitterroot Valley that helps existing and new businesses turn information and innovation into opportunity. This WBC sub-center focuses on providing both training and counseling to women entrepreneurs at all stages of their business development.

Group Trainings
Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET): A monthly, one-hour professional development program offered at no charge to women entrepreneurs. Speakers are experienced in various topics related to business.
Montana Women in Business Conference:
A conference held every two years in conjunction with the Montana District SBA. This two-day conference is hosted at different locations around the state and features business savvy women speaking on various professional development topics.
Other Group Trainings
Workshops are held throughout the year on a
number of business topics including: business start-up/pre-planning, business plan development, business financing, capital resources, managing a business, human resources and managing employees, customer relations, business accounting and budgeting, cash flow management, tax planning, marketing and sales, government contracting, franchising, buying and selling a business, technology and computers, eCommerce, legal issues and international trade.
MENTOR PROGRAM
The Montana WBC mentoring program emphasizes on short-term and long-term relationship building by matching the advanced, more experienced women entrepreneurs with the less experienced women entrepreneurs and women in business. Mentors share knowledge, best business practices and social capital.
